Dan Bendele President & CEO	Dan Bendele founded Independent Printers Worldwide, Inc., in 1998. He has served as President of IPW since its inception. Dan’s unique background blends financial expertise with a wide range of “industry insider” talents. Hallmarks of this experience are executive assignments with International Paper and the Director of Procurement at Cadmus Communications. Dan combines the proven ability to forge unified procurement teams in a large corporate world, with a creative, practical vision for the private commercial printer. His tireless leadership and ability to select the right people and vendors for the job brought immediate success to IPW. The organization is now being fueled by Dan’s extended visions for future directions and opportunities for IPW members. Residing in Powhatan, Virginia, Dan’s family of five children and wife of 21 years are a driving force in his remarkable career. His drive for personal excellence and unparalleled integrity are equally evident throughout his professional and private life.
John Kunce Senior Executive Vice-President	John has been a member of the key executive team in excess of four years. He brings over twenty years of manufacturing and purchasing management experience to IPW. Throughout his business career, John has implemented innovative sourcing strategies and negotiation techniques which have enabled businesses of all sizes to achieve profits from their purchasing operations. John’s penchant for academics began with his BA in Economics from the University of Kansas. He served as Instructor of Purchasing Management at York College of Pennsylvania from 1986 through 1998. John authored the text for this course and was frequent guest speaker at industry forums and NAPM chapter meetings. John resides in York, Pennsylvania, along with Jadine, his wife of 35 years. John and Jadine are proudest of their two children and eight grandchildren, which add immeasurably to their hectic, professional schedules.

Tom Sturgeon Executive Vice-President	Tom began his 19 year career in printing with a BS Degree in Printing Management from Western Michigan University. Upon graduation, Tom has served our industry in many areas including prepress and pressroom operations, technical and regional sales, customer service and quality control. A real insider in printing, Tom brings strong organizational, operational, administrative and communication skills to IPW. Tom’s technical knowledge of the printing industry coupled with expertise in computer systems helps the IPW & IPWC staff stay abreast of new technology and dramatic change now effecting our industry. Tom resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife of 15 years and their three children. Tom is committed to bringing the IPW vision and strategy to the entire IPW contingent.
Hap Bendele Executive Vice-President	Residing in Oregon, Hap Bendele gives Independent Printers Worldwide a strong presence right in the middle of the vast print market in the western United States. Hap brings a unique background within the paper industry to IPW. Skilled for many years in the art of paper making, Hap is now assisting IPW printers in acquiring the very best service and products from our selected paper suppliers. Hap’s energy is derived from a wide range of motivations centering on his great family. Hap and Tammie, wife of 28 years take great joy in their two married children, a son still at home and three grandchildren. Hap has taken the mantel of insuring that IPW expansion throughout the west is given top priority. He is also instrumental in insuring that member visits and updates are timely. We welcome Hap’s talents and desire to serve the west.
